I've had lessons from Shaheen since 2003 and she is amazing. She always leaves enough space for you to develop your own style and at the same time gives very good attention to making sure we all learn the basic movements well, without hurting ourselves. Apart from the yearly show we do with all the level groups, she gives a lot of workshops. To name a few there's cycle in which you can trance dance, get into contact with your own female magic through dance or learn how to dance to live music from a darbuqa player.
