Beit Ha'Chidush (House of Renewal) was founded in 1995 as a progressive and accessible Jewish community in the Netherlands. We celebrate Shabbat and the holidays, study ancient and modern Jewish texts, and are inspired by new as well as traditional Jewish rituals. Beit Ha'Chidush has received the support of progressive rabbis from Europe and the United States. All are welcome to join or visit our vibrant congregation Erev Shabbat service: Every first Friday of the month, 8 p.m. (doors open at 7:30) Uilenburger Synagogue Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat 91, Amsterdam.
